Brian catches me as I'm leaving Jeff's office by yelling, "Hey Amy, want a cat?"

This, of course, catches my attention.  I was not dubbed the Crazy Cat Lady for nothing, folks.

He proceeds to tell me that his cat has had kittens.  These kittens need homes.  HE HAD PICTURES.

The girls are fully on board.  I caved and told him that if he has any girls in the litter, I could be persuaded.

And not only do I already have three cats, this kitten is going to be a ginger cat (Mama is, too, and all the kittens are very similar in coloring so far).  And orange cats are nuts. 

Send help.  Or kitten food.

I adore my ginger boy, Viscount Dmitri de Gingernut but he is all the way bonkers! He's the youngest of our four and sometimes the others look from him to us as if to ask why we do something so evil to them!!

OMG, that name is everything! Hahaha. My friend has two ginger cats — mama and son — and the boy is nuts. So, I'm kind of excited because Violet (Maine Coon) and Sunny (a mackeral tabby with some orange) are both crazy.

They've only just started to open their eyes, so it'll be a few weeks, but THERE WILL BE PICTURES. Probably enough that even the cat lovers here will hate me. 😹

It was that or Count Vladimir Von Grahamcracker — the vets love when we visit and always make us call out the cats' names in full before we can go for our appointment!
