I should apologize for my emotional dump yesterday.  So, if you read that blather, I'm sorry.  Life is just too damn much right now.  Is it March yet?

Rebel Deck: Winning.  You got a good thing going.  Don't ruin that shit.
- I need to keep this in mind at work.  I might have one or two asshole co-workers, but for the most part, they're all good guys and I'm spoiled.

Sinister Affirmation: Don't let other people try to change you.  Real change comes from a horrifying near-death experience with a werewolf under a full moon.
[livejournal.com profile] cmk418 how's that for a plot bunny?  🤣

Exercise: LIIFT 4 W2 D2 Back and Biceps 50/50 (50% lifting, 50% HIIT).  30:21, 262 calories.  Remembered to start my watch today, yay!  My shoulders, triceps, biceps, and back are sore AF.

Reading:

Madness - Antonia Hylton - hardcover - 24%

Sherlock Holmes: The Definitive Collection - Sir Arthur Conan Doyle - audiobook - 76% (+5% which is insane for 3 hours of audio)

The Five: The Untold Lives of the Women Killed by Jack the Ripper - Hollie Rubenhold - Kindle - 18%

Prairie Fires: The American Dreams of Laura Ingalls Wilder - Caroline Fraser - Library ebook (need to re-borrow) - 41%

Everybody Knows - Jordan Harper - paperback - 3%

Snake-Eater - T. Kingfisher - paperback ARC - 46% (+8%)

6:40 to Montreal - Eva Jurczyk - eARC - 80% (+1%)

That One Night - Emily Rath - Kindle - 31% (this novella is only 130 pages, why TF have I not finished it yet?  🤦‍♀️)

The Seven Mountains Mandate
- Matthey Boedy - eARC - 58% (+18%)

The Proving Ground - Michael Connelly - audio - 44%

Watching:

I need to go back to Emma.  There are three episodes left and then I can move on.  I also put holds on two DVDs at the library so I'll watch those as they come in.  I have a notebook with lists of things I want to watch and where they are and yet... I watch nothing but food shows.  Send help.  😂

You are at 44% and you started it this morning?!?

I knew you'd catch that.

It's because I'm listening at like 1.25x. The Audible app recalculates the amount of time left in the book when you adjust the speed, so that first calculation of minutes for my spreadsheet is an overestimate. Does that make sense? I'm on chapter 16 of 50, so more like 32%. (I get about an hour and a half in every morning.)

That quote made me think Snape! Except his near miss with Lupin didn't really change him.

That's a very interesting way to look at it. I like that thought.
