I have to pee. I know that's TMI, but it's pertinent to my story.
I need to schedule an inspection, but the building department says that I can't because a prerequisite hasn't been met. This is usually because inspections go in phases - you pass off the underground, put the dirt back, move on to the topout/rough. Then you set your fixtures and do the final. However, ALL OF MY FIRE INSPECTIONS ARE RED. Which is kinda funny but...
So, I can't schedule anything. Desperate, I called the fire inspector, left a voice message, and man, can I say how weird it is to call and not hear ICP's voice? So, now I have to wait for the new inspector to call me back. However, I am the only one here so I can't leave my desk. 😭 With my luck, the second I'm past the point of no return, the phone will ring. Hahaha.
Anyway... how's your afternoon going? Hahahaha.

Would you believe he never called me back? I miss the old senior inspectors, they wouldn't EVER not respond. This dude has done it to me twice — the same number of times I've had to call him!
