So, it's chilly here today - 43ºF/6ºC.  This is pushing my limit for cold, but those of you who live in a colder climate might feel differently.  I'm pansy when it comes to the cold though.  Hahaha.

Anyway, I have this fantastic space heater that the guys' dad bought me years ago.  It puts out so much heat that I sometimes have to move it farther back because it makes my legs hot.  And, because I am loved, one of my coworkers turns it on every morning before I get here, so that my space is nice and warm when I arrive.

However, this morning, it was not warm.  In fact, it is 69ºF/21ºC INSIDE right now because my space heater has gone to the other side.  RIP, my beloved giver of warmth.  😂  Yes, I'm being dramatic, but I hate being cold.  Plus, with the spinal stenosis I have, the cold really makes my body ache.  So much fun to be in customer service when you hurt.

I have had a few laughs this morning, however.  Payroll needs to go in early so we can get our checks on Wednesday rather than Friday and let me tell you, the boys are having fun with me today.  For Thursday and Friday, which we had off, one of my guys wrote: Xmas Hangover in the two spaces instead of his hours.  Another, for the job code (meaning the type of work he was doing) put "dumbass finish" and I about choked on my coffe over that.

And then we have my older child who is taking her little boy in to be neutered today.  *facepalm*

So yeah, wish Abraxos luck if you see this.

Oh, and I did turn the heat on in my space, but I still miss my space heater.

I'm so sorry the heater died. That's so mean. You need it!

Aaww poor little boy. He'll recover.

LOL at least they have a sense of humor about it (the payroll thing).

Thanks! It was old and they don't make them like that anymore.

He will. I know when I took Fawkes and Gideon in, about 45 seconds after they got home, they were roughhousing with each other as if they just hadn't had surgery. LOL

Agreed. They're (mostly) all really great guys.

Ugh of course they don't. I have one at work but when I do need it, I'm not somewhere I can use it.

LOL sounds like it. I didn't have my current cat when he got snipped so I have no idea how he reacted.

That's good.

LOL This is one of those that's open in the front with basically just a wire cage around the heating elements, so I understand why they don't make them any longer. LOL Ugh, that sucks.

Brax is pretty young still, so he should be fine. We adopted Violet two days after her surgery and aside from her shaved belly, you'd have never known she'd just had major surgery. But she was only 10 weeks old at the time and didn't know any better.

It really is. Construction workers can be... interesting.

Oh yeah that makes total sense why they don't make them anymore. Those were scary, but yes sooo good.

Yeah, he should be fine. Wow. I remember when it was like a major thing and they had days/weeks in recovery.

LOL oh I remember. My step-mom owned a construction company for a while.

Right? But man it put out some serious heat.

I know, just shows how much science has progressed.

Hahaha. I've been dealing with them for almost 30 years now and while I love them, they are something.

I'm sure it did!

It really does.

LOL that's fun.

It did, but the new one I have at home does a decent job, too.

It's nice that it's less invasive and you don't have to worry as much.

Sometimes, yes. Other times... *shakes fist*

That'll work then. Just gotta remember to take it to work!

Seriously. Makes me feel better about having it done (not that I wouldn't do it.)

Hahaha isn't that all jobs?

Oh no, I'm not bringing it here, it'll disappear if I do that. LOL I just ordered a new one though.

Totally understand that!

For the most part, yes. Construction workers are a... special breed. LOL

LOL I don't blame you. That works.

I figured.
