Finch is funny

asphaltcowgrrlIf you don't know what Finch is, it's a self-care app that lets you set goals for the day/week/whatever. You can use it to journal, track your moods, and other things to help you get through the day. I tend to use it more as a to-do list to remind me to get my exercise in, to drink my water, to do the little things I sometimes forget. There are lots of good aspects to the app and I've been using it for way too long. (I just looked and my birb is 4 years and 3 months old so yeah.)
Anyway, you do your tasks and send your birb on adventures, which earn you gemstones so you can buy things - house items, clothing, new birb colors, whatever. And every month has a theme that lasts the whole month. There are also places you can visit. Like right now, I'm visiting the Galapagos Islands and finding out interesting things about the Islands (and collecting cute swag, just like on my real vacations lol). However, back in October, they did a special event kind of thing where you got to visit a haunted house for 2 weeks. And for February, they've given us an Alice in Wonderland sort of adventure.
This is where things go off the rails. Zayne* - my birb - just drank a potion yesterday and now he's big. So, when I went to check in this morning, I get this:
I was legit cackling that he DOES NOT FIT. And then when I completed enough tasks to start today's adventure...
GUUUUUYYYSSSSS... 🤣
I should not be this easily amused. Like ever, but here we are.
On a less amusing note, I need to call our IT people since Quickbooks keeps crashing on me. UGH. Guess it's a good thing these bills aren't due until the 10th.
*Yes, I named him Zayne. Why? I figured Zayne needed more motivation than any of us. Also, yes, he's generally in a dress. I don't know why, I just put on whatever looks cute.
