What the NHL Playoffs are telling me...

Why? Because I grew up watching the Cubs lose game after game after game. So, seeing them win was exciting and watching them lose was just a Tuesday.
However, the Knights have been consistently good since their inception which makes watching them lose winnable games so much more painful. Although we did win in OT last night, we had a three gosh danged point lead. How did we end up in OT? Y'all, just because you have a lead does not mean you can stop defending. LOL I will say, I do like it when they have Alec Martinez on the local broadcast. He's a bit awkward, but he's fun.
I can't lie - not sure watching the Cubs will be the same without Harry Caray and Steve Stone.
Lastly, a funny story. I refer to Fawkes and Gideon as 'the boys' or just 'boys' if I'm talking to them. Not sure why as I don't refer to Sunny and Violet as 'the girls', but maybe it's because the oranges were a package deal. Anyway, when I have their breakfast ready, I yell, "Sunny, Violet, Booooys!" and they all come running. Last night, while watching the game, I yelled, "COME ON BOYS!" and out of nowhere, two orange critters appear on the coffee table. Hahaha.
Anyway... that's my dumb take of the day.
OKAY I AM ANNOYED. Why can I not embed gifs now? AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH.
