First,  want to apologize for flooding your friends feed.  I put off posting a couple things and then there was that other one that I finished yesterday and... yeah.

But, on the other hand, I've posted almost 9k words at this point in the month.

Secondly, I'm kind of freaking out.  My phone is blowing up with Wattpad notifications today.  Apparently, someone found me and is going through reading all of my White Pine stories I have posted there (sadly, only three so far).  It really makes me nervous when that happens.  Over the long New Year's weekend, someone on FF.net was reading all of my Common Law crossdressing stories.  I don't know why that weirds me out like it does, but it makes me panic just a tiny bit.

Anyway...

See!! I'm not the only one who feels that way! (feeling slightly weird-ed when someone finds your work and immediately devours it with a big burp at the end) LOL.

I had that happen over the holiday in a few places. I figured it could be because people were on break and had time to get caught up. (?) Anyway, I think its normal to feel that way; either that, or takes a good long while to adapt to that feeling.

Hah! I was just getting ready to send you my Friday update with a comment about your prolificness. That's great!

It's so weird - I'm thrilled they like it enough to keep reading, but also get a bit paranoid, too.

I've had it happen a few times and it always weirds me out. I don't know why, because I'm the kind of person who will do this with an actual author (like Debra Webb - six books in six weeks, okay?).

ROFL! Yeah, I got on a bit of a kick and couldn't stop. I need to learn to post when it's done (since I don't bog you down with the short stuff) and not wait and go, "Oh, maybe I should post ALL of this?" Thanks!

Spam is a good thing when you don't have to eat it!!!

And people finding you, I love that. AO3 sends something dailyu if I get Kudos, and I actually enjoy seeing what people are reading of mine! :D

Hah! And if it's cooked right, you can almost even stomach it. :)

I love it, too. It just worries me when they read five bits out of one collection. I get worried that they'll find it's all gone downhill. :) YES. And those Kudos e-mails are always right in my inbox when I get up in the morning, and that makes me so happy. Great way to start off my morning. I agree though, it's nice to see the old stuff getting as much love as the newer sometimes.

When the Kudos e-mail comes in I frequently have a "What story was that?" As I am crap with titles and worse at remembering things. And stories are very sparkly and distracting.

But LOVE when the old stuff gets a bump. :D

I suck so hard at titling things! I've done that before though, especially with the older stuff. They'll mention something specific and I'll have to go back and read to figure out what they're talking about.

YES. Because the old stuff is what got you to the new stuff, right? It all deserves love.

HA! You should try posting in fewer places if it freaks you out so much! Take a deep breath, my dear, it means you're good and people like you! (did that feed your anxiety any? ;-P)

Thank God for dumb phones (mine never tells me anything, except when my kids want me!)

I'm a worrier by nature, so I could leave it on my hard drive and still freak out. :) The little random kudos or comments I get here and there don't worry me nearly as much... I don't know why it freaks me out so much when someone plows through an entire series?

I'm such a mess. Hah. But thanks so much for the support. :)

No kidding! I sometimes wish mine wasn't smarter than its owner. :)

*hugs* aren't we all? In reality, while the binge-readers don't freak me out, I'm just as insecure - when I read something great from someone I consider to be fabulous, I'm all 'I'm not worthy, my writing is garbage' about life...

I do support you, I promise! We have to support each other - who else is on the side of us crazies? ;-P

Yes, I think we are. :) I hear you, I'm the same way. I'm a simple writer - you won't find complex plots or settings in my work. Doesn't make me bad, just makes me less... complicated. And then I read something and want to cry. They say not to compare yourself to others, but how can you not, especially when you read as much as I do?

Why do we do this to ourselves?

I know you do and I love you for it. And you're so right. We have to support each other! I'm here for ya, babe!

I think all the best writers are a little bit insecure (or so I keep telling myself! ;-P). I also believe that we have to question ourselves and aim to do better all the time or else we'd lose our edge (if we had one!).

Yay! for supporting each other! ;-)

I think you might be right. :) I definitely agree with that last part though. If you never wonder if you can do this better, then you never will. But on the other hand, you have to be careful you don't become obsessed with being the best either.

Yes! We all need it sometimes. :)
