Anyway, the theme at comment_fic this morning is buttercup yellow. And if that wasn't enough to get me thinking about Wes (and praying for a CL prompt or twelve), this certainly didn't hurt any:
Any, Any+/Any, a yellow sundress and a crown of daisys. (Yes, I know, but I copied and pasted not wanting to change the original prompt, okay?)
Now, I have this picture of Wes on a grassy hillside, wearing a yellow sundress with little white flowers on it, a crown of daisies in his hair and one in his hand, as he spins around singing like Maria in The Sound of Music.
Because yes, the hills are alive, my friends... mostly with the sound of Travis' laughter.
I'd totally write this but... 1) I'm not sure the OP is looking for Wes in a sundress and 2) I don't think this would wind up being anything but epic word spew. :D
It's definitely going onto the WIP list.
Note: now I can't stop singing, "I feel pretty, oh so pretty. I feel pretty and witty and bright... and I pity any girl who isn't me tonight!" Which incidentally takes me allllll the way back to the first Wes in a Dress fic I wrote. Somebody. Send. Help.
Secondary note: iTunes has decided to start playing Taylor Swift's "I Wish You Would" and now I'm cackling because, as usual, iTunes' timing is impeccable. Okay, you wish I would? Maybe I will. So there.

I'm pretty sure this would make for an awesome addition to your 'Wes in a Dress' series. LOL, I'm imagining Travis inviting Wes for a picnic but when they get out into the field, instead of food in the basket Wes finds a carefully folded sundress. At first he's pissed because, you know - he's hungry, damnit - but it's a cute sundress, summery and soft and it swishes so nicely, so he humors Travis and tries it on. And, hey, they did also bring a blanket, don't you know...
