Why do I do this to myself? I knew better than to research this subject, having grown up amongst many members of this Church. And yet, in an effort to portray things realistically, I did exactly that. Now I want to bash heads together and scream, "THIS IS NOT REAL LIFE".
This is what kills me though. On the subject of 'homosexual susceptibilities' this article says, "However, the church teaches that these inclinations will not continue beyond death and that gender and gender roles are an eternal and essential characteristic of a soul." Oh hell no. Take your archaic views on sexuality and gender roles and stuff them up your robe. GAH.
I guess that I should be thankful that they have finally acknowledged that same-sex attraction is not a choice and therefore not a sin. However, actng on those feelings is a sin, right up there with murder and child abuse. Go figure.

I don't know why I'm surprised. I guess that I'm shell shocked by the fact that these attitudes not only survive but flourish in this day and age. On the other hand, I'm rasing two children who have turned out to be not just loving, but accepting young women.
*coughs*
So, what's on TV tonight? Anything good? I've made it through half of season 2, episode 4 of Hawaii Five-O and need to start on season 4 of Orphan Black. Put Max and Cosima in a room together and let them SCIENCE THEIR FACES OFF. I'd say let Steve and Danny hang out with Sarah and Helena but the boys wouldn't survive that luncheon. ;0)

But it's Tuesday, so I'll probably be watching last night's episode of The Voice instead. Although, I saw Hotel Transylvania 2 is on Netflix now. I'll be looking forward to your thoughts on Cap3!
