Yesterday, I didn’t figure there was much chance I’d get approved for any of the eight books I requested, which is why I snagged one of the ‘read now’ books.
I was wrong.
After I made my post yesterday, I was approved for two of the cookbooks (which is cool, those are easy to read and review). I was also auto-approved by two publishers as well. SCORE!
This morning, I woke up to TWO MORE APPROVALS.

The first is Kiss Her Goodbye by Susan Gee, published by Aria. I’ve never heard of this publisher, but looking through their catalogue, I do recognize some of their books. Beautiful. Plus, they seem to publish a lot of thrillers, so that works for me.

Then I get approved for this book, Saddle Up by A. M. Arthur. Yeah, I know, right? Hooboy. But the really important part about getting approved for this book? IT IS PUBLISHED BY CARINA PRESS. WHICH IS A DIVISION OF HARLEQUIN. This is the freaking big time. It opens me up to so many more options. Now, this isn’t an auto-approve, but it means that they’re more likely to approve me in the future as well.
And um, well, I doubt that anyone really gives a damn about what I’m reading or who I’m stalking on NetGalley, but I FREAKING EXCITED OKAY? I hate forking over $30 for a hardcover or $14 for a friggen ebook, or waiting four months for something to be available at the library, so this both satisfies my need for new books while helping me pay for college tuition and a slightly used kidney.
All that said, I am going to try and finish a fic today and hopefully knock out another chapter on that WIP that I forgot about (again).
¡Hasta más tarde!
