So, I get to go meet with the transplant team again today for Troy’s post-op evaluation and likely instructions on how to care for him once he’s home. There’s a VERY small chance he might get to come home today, but tomorrow is still more likely.

That’s the good news. LOL The annoying news? Apparently, on MARCH 7TH, my boss picked up checks and then went DIRECTLY TO THE BANK and made a deposit instead of doing what he was supposed to do and MAKE ME A COPY OF THE CHECK. For the love of god, why does he do this shit? And he says, “Oh, one’s about sixty thousand and the other is a hundred thousand, can you find what invoices they go to?”

Motherfucker, NO. LMAO. Seriously though, I asked if he knew what jobs they went to. No, of course not. What contractor? Nope, not that either. We have anywhere between 75-100 jobs every year and have jobs still open from 2018 and even 2017. HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO FIGURE THIS OUT? I’m not even sure where to start. UGH.

Anyway, enough of that drama. I haven’t shared a Last Kiss Comic in a while now, but this one was too funny not to share:

This is how I imagine Easter was for Hilary when she was still dating Zayne. Hahahahaha. I seriously would not put it past him to get her a sex toy for Easter. It'd probably have ears, too.

Lastly, on a whim, I pulled one of my Cat Guru cards this morning and got this:

Now, these are more like oracle cards than tarot, and probably aren’t supposed to be taken seriously, but I can’t help but get a laugh every time I use them. The mouse represents relationships, the ball of yarn represents life, and the paw is work. The work part is what cracked me up. In case you can’t read it, is says, “Things aren’t always black and white. Sometimes they are ginger.” INDEED THEY ARE SOMETIMES GINGER. Although, less in my work life than in my personal life. HAH.

I hope your Wednesday is treating you well!

Hopefully, but I can live with tomorrow, too.

OMG, I know. And he just grinned and said, "Guess you have to retrain me!" Dude, this has been the same process since I started here in 1997. HOW DO YOU NOT REMEMBER? But I had a flash of brilliance and suggested he look it up online. I know BofA will show copies of checks you've deposited, figured NSB would, too. HE OPENS QUICKBOOKS AND SAYS HE CAN'T GET THE CHECKS. Like... help? He asked his brother to do it, but Jeff doesn't like doing anything more than he has to so that's not likely to happen either. Thank you though - I did find an email from one of our contractors and mated it to an $87,111.00 payment, so that's one down. The other... wish me luck. LOL

(sorry about that - it's got me way more annoyed than it should)

I know, that card was perfect! Jay was definitely guiding me this morning. Or, looking for attention. :)
