(Because I can't post this on Facebook without it ending in me being unfriended by half the people I know...)

No one cares that you've never watched one episode of Game of Thrones. Truly. I have no doubt that not a single person is losing any sleep over it. Also, I have it on good authority that you're not nearly as special as you think you are.

On a more amusing note, another friend of mine (who does watch) posted a meme a few days before this last season started that said something like, "The new season of Game of Thrones starts soon. Prepare yourself for the posts from everyone saying they've never watched it." And seriously, I've not watched - mainly because I don't have HBO - but even I get annoyed with the constant posts.

Anyway, I'm annoyed this morning. I had to put out $165 to get my battery replaced in my car so I could make it to work. Troy damn near ran out of his anti-rejection meds over the weekend because his insurance didn't think to call and tell him that he needed to use a different pharmacy instead choosing to MAIL HIM A LETTER. He had to make an emergency run downtown at 4:00 on Friday to get enough to last him through the weekend. The pharmacy promised to have them today and if they don't, I might wind up in jail guys.

I guess I'm just a bitter Betty over the fact that I have real problems and don't have time to complain that I've never watched a show or that it's still raining.

Seriously though, despite the battery, my morning hasn't been all that bad. The co-worker who was being such a dick on Friday is continuing to be a passive-aggressive jerk. But you know what? I don't care. I don't have time for this. Like I stated above, I have real problems, thanks. And all this reminds me that I need to call my husband and see how his clinic appointment went this morning. It's the first time he's gone by himself, so I'm anxious. LOL

In other news, it's cool and windy as heck today. Sometimes, I really miss my truck, but when it's windy like this, a small car is a blessing. That old Ram of mine would get blown across the freeway with every good gust. Like the comedian said, "Never trust something that says ram on the side and dodge on the front." Hah!

Okay, so hopefully I balanced out the whine with enough positive stuff that you don't walk away from here and never return. But just in case some good things:

I've written 300 words already (not including this post) and my daily goal is 500.

I was less than 45 minutes late to work despite the issue with my battery.

Although it cost me a chunk of money, it was ONLY the battery and I can deal with that.

My new phone should be arriving today, too. And this is why I think my battery died - anytime I make a large splurge on myself, something breaks and I feel guilty. Thanks, universe, I appreciate that.

Okay, I think that's enough. What's going on in your world? It sure is lonesome in mine.

Luckily, they stocked him up on the Prograf at the hospital. It's the main one they use, but he's also on a second (celcept?) because his rH factor is different than his mothers (she's O- and he's O+ I believe), and that was the one that he had three pills left of. Anything else, sure, send a letter, but this definitely deserved a phone call.

I think I logged on at the wrong time to go respond to things on the page I help with. LOL My mistake, sorry. Makes me wonder what the next thing to be proud of not watching will be.

I know, I was shocked, especially since they were down a guy. His car had gotten stolen over the weekend with all his tools in it. And yet, somehow, they got me out ASAP. I love those guys. Ugh, that's annoying because it legit takes ten minutes to replace a battery, even when my non-mechanically inclined husband is doing it.

Yes, words are my friends when I'm stressed. :) And now it's lunchtime!
