Am I expecting too much?

I just got yelled at - literally - by my co-worker because apparently our payroll company's website doesn't detail our health coverage.

Granted, our health insurance is provided THROUGH the payroll company, but they are not our provider. However, I would not have gone to the payroll company for that information, I would have looked at my insurance card and Googled the name of the provider. (Note: our insurance cards have the company's website information on them.)

But, he thought yelling at me because he was not smart enough to think about that was okay. Also, despite the fact I read all the information that comes with our limited dental coverage, I was wrong about what I know. Um, okay. Let's not forget he blamed me for the fact that he couldn't find the information he needed because he wasn't looking in the right place.

Guys, it isn't even 8 AM yet. I only started work at 7:30. This week has been hard enough on me, I do not need this crap on top of it all. Especially since this jerk has a child my age, so it's not like he's never dealt with this stuff before.

Anyway... to those of you who were sad when I said I was going to stop posting personal stuff, are you regretting that yet? LOL

Okay, I have payroll to handle so I'll stop whining and go back to work. Hope your day starts off better than mine has.

Believe me, I get it how frustrating that must have been!

So many people seem to be barely even conscious - they're on some kind of auto-pilot and just bark at whoever is closest to the situation because it feels good to vent. :{

We had miscommunication/poor communication issues here this AM. In the end, it all got resolved w/o being too huge a kerfuffle...but it definitely feels like a day to lay low, lol. That's my plan for the next five hours.

LOL - I just looked at my horoscope app on my phone and apparently there is trouble in my work life today. HAHAHA. Moon in Aries is at fault, I guess. (I could channel a friend of mine who blames everything on Mercury in retrograde.) More than likely, end-of-year crap is putting everyone on edge.

He does this crap all the time. And while I think he was trying to vent his frustrations, yelling directly at me, cutting me off while trying to explain, etc., does not garner him much sympathy from me!

Thanks, I've just been feeling very down about everything. It'll get better but for now? BLAH!

She's done it whenever I'm on vaca, but we like her to get a week or two while I'm here. She knows what she's doing, she just gets angsty about it.

Makes sense to me. Have her work out the kinks while there's someone there to help. I ran into my co-worker (oddly enough, the one I wrote this post about) and his wife at the grocery store right after I lost Troy and when I told him I'd planned to come in that Wednesday and grab the time cards to do payroll from home, he said, "I was worried about that." LOL

No because it does no good. As aggravating as it was, I'm going to save the ratting him out for bigger things. Like the day he snapped at me nastily in front of my boss and I told him that he will never, ever talk to me that way again because he does not have the right. Tim kinda stared at me open-mouthed after that. LOL

We have a bunch of "No ovaries" customers, who talk completely different to C & I than they talk to the boss or foreman. And what's wonderful is when the boss's door to the lobby was closed but the door to my section was open and boss could hear them talking to me like I was stupid and didn't know and when they demanded him he came out and asked me for the answers to the parts the guy was looking for. Was nicely triumphant, but my boss is good about charging a little more or taking a little longer to get work done on the No Ovaries customers. It makes us feel a little more vindicated and valued.

The one time I screamed at a co-worker to get the F out of my office, my boss laughed at me.

I get that everybody's life revolves around them, but really... You should have punctured his tires!

Good for your boss! And in mine's defense, if one of our vendors treated me like that, he'd definitely step in. But my two no-ovary (LOL) co-workers are more vital to the company than I am. *insert eye roll here*

Don't tempt me. I just keep reminding myself that his wife once told me she caught him having an affair. So yeah, I can always throw that at him the next time he's being a jerk.

You and Maddie! LOL School is out here until at least April 13th. Taylor's classes have all gone online, but she's at UNLV so they're set up for that kind of thing better than the local schools are.

Maddie is supposed to go back 4/6 or 4/13, I can't remember which, so we'll see. I'm praying she gets to go back and graduate on time. Taylor's college classes have all gone to online as well.

Yes, she is. She's supposed to graduate in May. No, they're not going to penalize her for missing school, but a lot of school districts have cancelled school for the year already. That's what I'm worried about. She likely won't have a graduation ceremony either way.

Agreed! Especially with where UNLV is located, the traffic is awful. She's happy to not have to make that drive every day. Ugh, your poor brother.

Yeah. I'm really glad my siblings are graduated. And that my school kids aren't old enough for it to matter.
