I almost forgot to do this. Should have done it yesterday but didn’t want to overload you all with posts.
TV:
Finished season 3 of The Affair
Secrets and Lies – season 1. Love this show, hate that it only got 2 seasons!
Behind Her Eyes – what a trippy ass show. I need to read the book now.
Goliath – season 1. Really liked this. Thank you K for suggesting it.
Star Trek Discovery – season 3. Now, I’m hoping for season 4.
Castlevania – season 1 (don’t judge me). Anime based off the video games (or so I assume). Not bad for a 4 episode season.
Movies:
Solo: A Star Wars Story. Interesting look at how Han became who he was.
Sicario: Day of the Solodado. Brutal, but a good movie.
Man of Steel. I’m… just going to sit here and eat my pistachios.
Batman vs. Superman. I’d never seen this but it wasn’t too bad. I was a touch confused at times though.
Suicide Squad. This wasn’t half as bad as everyone made it out to be honestly.
Bless Me, Ultima. I watched this because it was on Manuel Garcia-Rulfo’s IMDB page. (Same with Sicario lol) Turned out to be a really good, if a bit odd of a movie.
What’s up next:
I started season 3 of Killing Eve yesterday so I’m going to finish that. After, I’m not sure what’s up next. In case you didn’t notice above, I’ve started working my way through the DC movies. I think Justice League is next, and I’ve never seen that, so I’m hoping it’s good. Have some catching up to do with 911, Lonestar, and Prodigal Son, so I ought to get through those soon.
Serious question though. I started watching The Godfather because, shockingly, I’d never seen it. I got thirty minutes into it and had to shut it off. I was bored to freaking tears. I know this is supposed to be a classic, quotable movie, but…? Have any of you seen it and did you love it? Should I give it another try?
As always, I’m highly suggestible, so recs are welcome!
