But I was wrong.  Never, ever believe that Cody Rigsby and Disney is going to be easy.

I haven't gotten on the bike in quite some time, although I have been doing strength training and yoga.  But with Taylor in LA and Maddie getting invited to a concert tonight, I figured why not.  So, I chose a 20 minute Disney ride with Boo.  I regret everything.  🤣

Let's just say that it took me ten minutes to get up and start dinner becuase my legs wouldn't stop shaking.  Hahaha.  But!  I was able to get out of the saddle (meaning, I could stand and pedal) three times during the first song, and lasted almost the entire duration, which is a huge improvement for me.  I still felt like I was about to keel over, but I did it.

At the end of every ride, Cody always says, "Bye, Boo!" but this one?  He legit said, "Bibbidy bobbidy bye boo!"  I about felll off the dang bike.

He's a dork, but I love him.  Next up, an endurance ride with Matt Wilpers, aka the Baby Faced Assassin (aka the BFA).

And since I hear it's national cat day, here is a rare sighting of Violet and Nayla within spitting distance of each other.  Note, it didn't last long.  Nayla hissed and got off the bed.

Lastly, yet another reason why I can't have nice things (click on image to go to Flikr to see the video).

Now, I'm going to go eat my unhealthy dinner and love every second of it. LOL  I mean, kielbasa and potatoes?  How can you not?

Hope you're all enjoying your weekend.

Thanks! It was rather touch and go there at the end. LOL

Aw, poor baby. It's weird though. Nayla loves Sunny, our middle cat, but barely tolerates Violet for some reason. Might have been because Sunny was 3 months old and very skittish when we brought her home where Violet was 10 weeks and hell on wheels. LOL

Do you think you'll get into the bike more over winter, or not sure? I've debated buying something- bike, treadmill- since it gets so icy out here from mid-Jan until May. I don't have a lot of room, though, and am not sure I'd use it. I joined a gym with a small indoor track, so that's probably my option this winter. They have all the weight machines I like- which, as I'm learning, were actually doing me good when I lived in the city had had a gym across the street.

I've been doing a bit more running but also a lot more eating. I need to do all the things- run, weights, yoga, and put down the fork. Lol. Going back to pescatarian would solve most of my concerns, honestly.

Nayla didn't gnaw on it, at least! :) Cute how they bat at stuff- predator/prey behavior and cute at the same time, lol.

I used to ride it all year long. But since Taylor stopped working in July, it's gotten harder. The bike's in the living room and she makes her home on the couch once she gets home from school. 🤣 The gym with the indoor track sounds perfect for your needs. I'm sure they have bikes as well in case you ever wanted to change it up. We only bought ours as a recovery tool for Troy after his transplant.

Hahaha — I hear you on the eating. Start adding a day or two into each week and progress from there. You'll get back at it and find you won't need to put the fork down nearly as much. 😁 Ah, I could easily go pescatarian! As it is, with a vegan in the house, we're pretty much on a vegetarian diet already.

No, she'll leave the gnawing to Violet! It really is cute to see their natural instincts come out like that. Especially since she's old and has little enthusiasm for it. LOL

Niiice. I do fried potatoes and then fry the kielbasa and zuchanni together

That sounds good, too! With this, you chop and boil the potatoes until almost done. Fry the kielbasa in a skillet, add the potatoes, cook a bit more, then coat with a sauce made of mustard, vinegar, thyme, salt, pepper, and brown sugar. Huge hit here before Taylor went vegan. LOL

Oooo that does sound good!

It really is!

Just... ignore the part about microwaving the potatoes and boil them for 10-12 minutes instead. They NEVER get done in the microwave for me. LOL

Mine always seem to end up over cooked. I'll have to try the recipe!

Hope it turns out and you like it! The first two times I made this recipe, I kept nuking and nuking the potatoes and they never got soft. So, I said screw it, tossed them into a pot, and boiled them. LOL

I hope so! LOL mine get soft, I just tend to overcook them.

Gotcha. Wonder if you cut them too small maybe? I know I'm famous for cutting them too big sometimes.

I don't cut them when I put them in the microwave. But that would make sense.

We've always used it as a quick way to bake potatoes.

Congrats on doing the bike! And I can totally see why you like that guy. That's adorable.

And I'm sure Nayla thinks that you have plenty of nice things!

Thank you! He's so much fun. Cody's 'signature' is calling everyone Boo, which just cracks me up, even when I think I'm four seconds from dying.

Well, she has a funny way of showing it (by puking on everything)! :D
