Hellz Yeah and other things

Okay, so after maybe what?  Two weeks of not working on my original fic WIP, I not only opened it back up but I FINISHED CHAPTER FOUR.  YES.  And even better, I know how to start chapter five.  I am so happy you can't even know.  The WIP itself is at just over 18k words (I'd overestimated prior, whoops), which is astounding for me since I think it's only about half finished.  Maybe two-thirds even.  Score.

There's a chance I might even finish this damn thing.  Huzzah!  I have no doubt that Andrej and Zayne will be relieved when I do.  Or, at least Zayne will be.  Heh.

Eh, there was so much more I wanted to tell you, too, but now I just don't see the point.  It's that post-lunch letdown, I guess.

Whoooooooooo!!! *tosses confetti* Look at you go! :D It truly is a wonderful feeling to smash through the wall of writer's block and start accumulating words and ideas again.

You know who else is excited? US! :D Do you think you'll post it here for us to see when you're finished?

Thanks - I'd gotten so freaking fed up with this whole story that I didn't even want to look at it again. I'm just happy to have forward momentum with this one again.

Hah! You say that now... LOL But seriously, yes! As soon as it's finished, I'll start posting it. But I have this thing about never posting until something's done (unless it's written as stand-alone bits, if that makes any sense).

Oh yeah, I totally get that. I'm always so bummed when I come across an awesome story that's been abandoned halfway through because either the writer lost interest or just didn't have the stamina to eek out those last few chapters. It's something I worry about doing myself, which is why I'm keeping a close eye on this current chapter fic I've got going. It's very out of the norm for me to post a fic before it's done.

Well I say kudos to you for finding that momentum and I can't wait to see your story when it's done! :D

Exactly that. And they always seem to get abandoned just as they're getting good, too. I know I have enough unfinished WIPS to even try posting without finishing, although I'm kind of doing that with the color challenge right now. Well, if I can ever get caught up with it, I'll make sure to keep nudging you so you finish. :D

Aw, well thank you! And if I can ever find a bit of time to get back to the dumb thing (work has been crazy this last week or so), I will finish it! I WILL. :)
