So, I'm sitting here, eating my lunch, and contemplating some Witcher fanfic when...

...I stumble across this:



Yeah, I know, that's D&D and not The Witcher, but can you see Dandelion/Jaskier acting as Geralt's parole officer? Because there's only one reason why someone continually appears when you least expect it - and that's because they're making sure you're not up to no good.

Or, Andrej acting as Zayne's parole officer because he kind of already does.

Alternative idea: After watching The Witcher, I had this weird urge to take Andrej, Zayne, and James and put them (and the rest) into a Witcher AU of sorts. That has suddenly morphed into a Dragonlance-esque AU. James can be a half-elf a la Tanis since Tanis was a redhead. :D Andrej... I'm thinking either a cleric or a ranger. Zayne? A freaking kender because no one got into trouble like Tasslehoff...

...and I'm putting way too much thought into this and I need help. Or another Margaret Weis/Tracy Hickman novel.

You all hate me now, don't you? Hahaha. Off to find Paladine to see if he can cure me of my insanity.

Lmao omg i have to share that idea with my friend. And i totally see that in the reverse, geralt as the upstanding paladin having to deal with his idiot rogue jaskier 🤣

I love this! He's just stoic enough to pull it off, although he'd have to stop swearing. Hah!
